Diploma in Civil Engineering,from NTUA,in 1980. Phd in Bone Biomechanics, department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Patras, 1991. Associate Professor, department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics since 2009

Her research activities include: Mechanical behaviour of bone (healthy and diseased) and its modelling Fracture management of skeletal systems Composite biomaterials for osteosynthesis (bioresorbable polymers) Ultrasound propagation in cancellous bone Implants. In vitro study of biomaterials biocompatibility Cell mechanics (detachment strength, cell response under static and dynamic loading)
