Biography

"Dr. Williams is a visiting professor at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, and adjunct professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago in the Department of Bioengineering. She was also formerly Assistant Director of the Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory at Rush, and is the recipient of three grants from the National Institute of Health. Dr. Williams has written publications in the Journal of Biomechanics, the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and Spine. She has presented her research internationally, including conferences for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the International Society of Biomechanics and the Orthopaedic Research Society. She is a member of the Orthopaedic Research Society, the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, among a number of other professional affiliations"
